- BAYHTR Supplementary Electric Heat Kit BAYHTR1517BR Heat Kit: BAYHTR accessory heat kits are factory-engineered supplementary electric heaters that field-install into American Standard 5TEM/TEM-series air handlers, available in multiple kW stages (approximately 5-23 kW across this model range) at 208/240V to provide backup or auxiliary electric resistance heat alongside a heat pump.
